(1). Coronary artery disease (CAD) or coronary heart disease (CHD) refers to disease in the blood vessels of the heart
(1). Cerebrovascular disease is a disease of blood vessels supplying the brain; peripheral arterial disease relates to blood supply to arms and legs

Primary prevention of CVD focuses on strategies to prevent CVD morbidity and mortality in healthy individuals
